Establishment of Subsidiary for Automatic Door Sensors in Germany

OPTEX Co., Ltd. has established its subsidiary, "OPTEX Technologies GmbH," in Germany on January 1, 2025.

In Europe, which accounts for approximately 15% of OPTEX automatic door-related business, the majority of the market share for new automatic door installations is held by manufacturers in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Moreover, Germany has become a trendsetter, with its standards often becoming the basis for regulations in other regions. Although we established an office at the same location last March, the subsidiary was established with the aim of further promoting collaboration with local manufacturers, distributors, and partners, as well as enhancing our technical support system.
