RLS-2020 provides firmware update with WEB Browser settings’ option. However, from Ver. 1.x to Ver. 3.0, we are aware of the occasional occurrence of error of the update. Because, the update from Ver. 1.x to Ver. 3.0 is rewriting whole firmware, it takes longer time than usual update from Ver 1.x to Ver. 1.x. As the result, during updating period, WEB browser may show incorrect message and start updating. In this case, if power is off or removes the LAN cable, there is a possibility to break the firmware data and the unit cannot be updated and recovered. To avoid this error, please use this updater file, "rls2020flashall_300_20190325.bin" and provided update tool.

On Web browser settings, can configure the response time of RLS-2020S/I max. 900,000 msec (15 minutes) for longer period loitering detection. When Web settings, after update the firmware, once clean up the cache data of the Web browser.
If the response time is set to 60,000msec (1 minute) or more, the Auto Area adjustment setting will be disable. When the response time is set more than 60,000 msec, the detection area should be apart from the boundary, such as a wall. |
