Redscan mini-Pro is a high-performance laser scan sensor that can identify an object's size, distance from the sensor, and speed. In normal mode, a single sensor can be used to cover a 20 x 20 m detection area, ensuring a robust intrusion alert system for both indoor and outdoor environments.

Adopting newly developed infrared LED lighting technology and a full-HD camera, Optex's latest laser scan sensor offers improved video-based confirmation functionality for increased ease of use and greater usability in various environments.

Selectable installation method

REDSCAN mini-Pro series have 3 installation methods as Wall, Ceiling and Pole. You can select either method to match the installation site.

Built-in FHD Camera and IR LED

RLS-2020V has a build-in FHD camera with IR LED providing clear image in 1080P resolution. The pre and post alarm camera images are recorded in internal memory of the unit (alarm logs : 500 events) and can be played back for verification.

Horizontal and portrait image can be selectable

Map Screen Display

Both RLS-2020V and 2020A can stream live images instead of video images from the camera. Any photo or image can be used to overlap the detection area.

Connectivity and interoperability

Redscan mini-Pro is an ONVIF profile S compliant sensor allowing it to send alarm outputs via the ONVIF protocol to any ONVIF compliant networked video system or IP network devices. The video stream of the assistance camera could also be provided to the Video Management Software platform via the ONVIF RTSP protocol. To assure a secure network communication, the REDSCAN Pro is compliant with HTTPS, SNMPv3 protocols.

Verification of the cause of detection signal

**IR LED for nighttime monitoring**

RLS-2020V has a built-in IR LED that illuminates the detection area when it grows dark. It’s effective to capture the detection target as clear as possible at night.

**Automatic IR Adjustment**

RLS-2020V can automatically adjust the strength of IR LED to the distance from the target.

**Event log function**

Track of object is recorded when alarm signal is generated. The alarm pre and post detection data and camera image are recorded in internal memory of the unit. Alarm logs : 500 events.

Dynamic Event Filtering

A function that determines an alarm after combining object detections in 2 separate areas (Alert area and Judgment area).

Eight independent detection zones

**Different sensitivity only at small part like a door**

A specific detection zone, such as a door or window can be set at a different sensitivity level.

**Detection area generating an alarm signal immediately and the one generating a pre-warning signal.**

Some detection zones can be set as pre-warning and others as immediate alarm.

**Different sensitivity at left and right**

The sensitivity can be adjusted to the assessed risk per zone: high sensitivity to detect a running person and medium for a climbing intruder for instance.

**Angle-adjustable LiDAR module**

The angle of RLS-2020V and RLS-2020A can be changed to match the installation site.

**Intuitive Web User Interface**

mini-Pro series can be setup with a browser. No extra software installation nor internet connection is required.

High performance and environmental resistance

REDSCAN mini-Pro automatically offsets the area floor to accommodate the snow built-up.

mini-Pro can assign up to 8 detection zones with individual detection parameters. Minimum target size, Sensitivity (object presence time) and "Ignoring Area from Ground" setting allow multiple ways to reduce nuisance alarm caused by small animals.

When harsh outdoor environment is expected such as a presence of dense fog, heavy snow storm and apparent presence of gaseous matters, limiting the sight range of the LiDAR technology, this function provides extra filtration of nuisance factors.
