Announcement of President/CEO and Change of board members
OPTEX Co., Ltd. (Otsu, Shiga) has held Extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and Extraordinary board of directors' meeting on the 27th December 2024 where board members were re-elected, and Kazuo Ikeda has been appointed as President/CEO as of the 1st January 2025. Toru Kamimura, former President/CEO, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board. Having one newly appointed member, OPTEX Co., Ltd. now shall have six board directors.

Background
OPTEX has been employing slogans of “Business model transformation” and “Global business process re-engineering” enhancing direct marketing and digital transformation for last few year. Whilst these activities achieving their results, we have been preparing for establishment and succession of management structure to next generation aiming for further sustainable growth. From 2025, Kazuo Ikeda leads our management as President/CEO, while Toru Kaminura supports him as Chairman of the Board, Kamimura aims to create synergy with group companies as Executive Vice President of parent company, OPTEX Group Co., Ltd..
